Edit: So apparently it's because I'm running Firefox 3.5 that it's messing up my colors and I'm not seeing my image correctly since it was fine before I uploaded it to DA. So if you're using Firefox 3.5, you're probably seeing what I'm seeing. Super dark and high-contrasting colors. Guess who's downgrading to a previous firefox! :3
Traditional ink commission from the sketch/ink special I had not too long ago (see journal). I decided to go ahead and color it. Sketched, inked, and colored all today. So the color is really sloppy!! ;~; Anywho. Picu of Rakuyu, a irl friend's dragon. :3 Please no crits either! I don't really want any on this image. :0   No, this does NOT mean my laptop is fixed. :c I was testing to see if this crap-comp is able to handle Photoshop and large file sizes, let alone color on it. Success! I had to remake my watermark since the original file is on the laptop, which I don't have. I feel weird for having to trace over my very own watermark! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I get really opaque colors which I fix with photoshop later with hue/saturation
you can also play with the color levels while scanning, usually helps a bit, and I press the sheet against the scanner to avoid dark edges
I think it looks really nice though, but I know what you mean when scanner makes it loose half of the colors

i don't think the colors look too dark :3
